The Dana Foundation is a private philanthropic organization that supports brain research through grants and educates the public about the successes and potential of brain research.

Since its founding in 1950, the Dana Foundation has appropriated in excess of $434 million for philanthropic purposes.

The Dana Alliance is a nonprofit organization of more than 300 leading neuroscientists, including ten Nobel laureates.  The organization is committed to advancing public awareness about the progress and benefits of brain research.  Supported entirely by the Dana Foundation, the Dana Alliance does not fund research or make grants.

FOR THE BRAIN
 

The European Dana Alliance is an organization of more than 212 eminent brain scientists, including five Nobel laureates, from 29 countries.

The Foundation offers online and print publications for general readers, focusing on the brain and learning initiatives.

The website, dana.org, features current news about the brain and resources for children, teachers, older adults, caregivers, and people seeking validated information about brain diseases.
